  • Scratch!

    In Years 2, 3 and 5, the children will be using a new program called ‘Scratch’ on their school iPads.  If your child has access to an iPad at home, please would you encourage them to download ’Scratch’ and explore the site in their own time, in exchange for extra homework dojos!  Please don’t worry if your child does not have access at home.  Extra dojo points can be earned in class.

     

  • Flu Vaccinations

    Flu vaccinations will be carried out on 10th October.  If you have NOT returned your child’s consent form to school and still wish for them to have the vaccination, there are a limited number of spare forms in the school office.  These need to be signed and sent back to us asap. 

     

  • Reception Admissions

    The closing date for applications for a Reception place to start in September 2020 is 15th January 2020.  If you are interested in looking around the school prior to applying for a place, we will be holding a parent walk-around on Tuesday 19th November 2019 at 10.00am.  Please contact the school office to book on to the session.

     

  • High School Admissions

    The closing date for applications to High School is 31st October 2019.  Please ensure you apply for your child’s school place online by this date.  School will be holding an admissions workshop for those parents of children in Year 6, who do not have access to a computer, or who need help or guidance with the process on Tuesday 15th October.  Please feel free to drop in.

     

  • After School Clubs - Places Remaining

    Just a reminder to parents that we still have 2 places left for Year 1 & 2 children in our football after school club on Tuesdays, and 4 places left in Friday’s Dance & Gymnastics which is for children in Years 3 to 6.    Please call to the office if you would like your child to take up a place.

     

  • Macmillan Coffee Morning - Thank you!

    ** Update**

     

    Our grand total raised was £445.30!  Thanks to everyone who contributed.

     

    Today we held our non-uniform day and coffee morning in aid of Macmillan. Thank you to all who came along and joined in.  We will let you know as soon as we can how much money was raised for this worthwhile cause.   Thank you also to our wonderful PTA for arranging the event!

     

  • Farewell Mrs Aylott!

    Mrs Aylott leaves us today to start her maternity leave. We wish her the very best of luck and can’t wait to see her in the near future with her bundle of joy!  Good Luck Mrs Aylott!

  • Year 3 Visit to Bury Transport Museum

    Our Year 3 children visited Bury Transport Museum on Friday 20th September, where they looked at old methods of transport including vintage trains and buses.  They took a ride on an old fashioned steam train and got to dress up as bus conductors, train drivers mechanics, and even passengers from the past! All the children and staff thoroughly  enjoyed the day!
