• Tuck Shop Payments

  From Monday 14^th September, children should not be carrying any cash with them for tuck shop.   Parents/Guardians need to come to the office and collect an envelope to put the money into. These will then be given to the Tuck Shop organisers to sort out your child’s snack.

   

• Welcome to Alex Brown!

  Alex is our new Children’s Welfare Officer, and some of you may have seen or met her in the  playground before and after school since we came back. Alex is available to support families with a range of challenges that might arise, including   issues with housing, parenting, home routines, as well as support with agencies, and more general concerns.

   

  If you would like to catch up with her, either look out for her in the playground, or call in at the office who will arrange for her to call you back.

   

• Fundraising Day

  On Friday 18^th September we are asking everyone to wear red and/or blue to school. This is to support us in remembering our pupil, Saqib Raza Ahmed, who very sadly lost his life to a cancerous brain  tumour on the 4th October 2021, just 2 weeks after his 5^th birthday. This day will help us to honour what would have been his 10^th birthday on the 19^th    September. We have chosen red and blue as these were Saqib’s favourite colours.

   

  Milly’s Smiles was one of the charities that         supported the family during this difficult time, and we would like to raise money to recognise this.

   

  To donate towards Millys Smiles in memory of Saqib on Friday 18th, please send the money to school with your child to give to their teacher. The charity will greatly benefit from our donations as September is also childhood cancer awareness month.
