Well done to Mrs Stamp and our Early Years staff. We received excellent feedback following a ‘toothbrushing programme’ audit recently, and we would like to share this with our parents!
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Marland Hill for making me feel so welcome and for all their hard work and commitment in implementing the programme. It was evident to see that it is carried out in a very professional manner to the highest standard, with excellent cross infection procedures in place. All the children appeared to be very happy and engaged in their daily brushing, they were encouraged to brush independently and the use of the song on You Tube encouraged them to brush for the correct amount of time. It was wonderful to see how easy the whole process was for everyone involved”.
Year 6 parents and carers are invited to a Coffee Reading Morning for Year 6 on Thursday 12th March at 9.00am-10.00am. This will be held in the school hall. Letters have been sent home with your children. We look forward to seeing you there!
Some of our children visited Dippy the Dinosaur at Number One Riverside this week, and took part in different activities. They drew their own version of the dinosaur, played with musical instruments and were read a story. They all enjoyed their pre-historic experience!
Some of our pupils attended the Rochdale Music Festival at the Town Hall. The children played a mixture of the recorder and the flute. They all performed so brilliantly and all received certificates. Well done! We are so proud of you all!
