  • Non Uniform Fundraising Day for Saqib

    Today’s Non Uniform was in memory of Saqib so everyone was asked to wear superhero costumes, one of Saqib’s favourite things, bright clothes and a hat. Thank you so much for everyone's donations so far - more money is yet to come in so we will have the final amount for next week’s newsletter.

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • Warm Weather Warnings

    Please ensure during the warm weather that your child has a water bottle and a hat in school. We also ask that you apply sun cream before they come to school to avoid the risk of sunburn. Your child is at risk without a hat or sunscreen of heat stroke or heat exhaustion.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • Year 6 Peer Reading

    Year 6 children have been looking at bed time stories , they created their own story and made it into a book. They then read the story to a younger child.

     

  • Athletics Festival KS2

    In the athletics competition we came second overall with the boys and the girls both winning their relay races and Chloe H winning the vortex throw (similar to javelin). The events included the vortex throw, discuss, long jump, sprint and a relay race.

     

    The children should be very proud of their achievement against some very strong opposition and their behaviour was exceptional on a very hot afternoon. Well done everyone!

     

  • PE Superstars

  • Weekly 100% Attendance

    This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos.  There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.   • Star Books Reader- Winners!

    The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

  • Rochdale Music Festival Signing Choir

    Our Signing Choir did really well in this week’s Rochdale Music Festival and won first place!
