Please may we remind parents that dogs are NOT permitted in the school grounds at any time. Thank you.
Please may we remind parents that it is essential your child has their FULL P.E. kit in school at all times. This includes pumps and/or trainers. Children need to have suitable footwear for P.E. for health & safety reasons. Please ensure your child has the correct kit in school. Thank you for your co-operation.
A letter has gone home regarding the number of children wearing items of jewellery in school. Please may I remind you that this is not appropriate, or part of the uniform policy, and I ask for your support in reminding your children of this. If earrings are worn, then they should only be a small pair of studs. Hoops or dangly earrings pose a health and safety risk to your child, so are therefore not suitable. Wrist watches may be worn if you choose for your child to have one, but they should not have the capacity to carry out any kind of recording on them. Necklaces and bracelets should not be worn at all in school. Could I also remind you that hairstyles should be sensible and appropriate for school. We encourage long hair to be tied back. Hairstyles should not include those with patterns or tramlines being shaved into the hair or eyebrows.
Over the coming weeks we will be speaking to the children about this, and reminding them of the rules. I would appreciate your support in reinforcing this if required.

Please may we remind parents that children are welcome and encouraged to bring their own water bottles in from home. These can be re-filled throughout the day, but please note children should only use them for water. Thank you for your co-operation.
Parents meetings will be held all next week. You should have received a letter home with your child this week. Please return the appointment slip to school if you have not already done so, and your child's teacher will send an appointment time home with your child. Dates are as follows:
Monday 4th Nov — Year 3 & Year 5
Tuesday 5th Nov - Year 2 & Year 4
Wednesday 6th Nov — Reception & Year 1
Thursday 7th Nov — Nursery & Year 6
Friday 8th Nov — Nursery (2nd session)
If you have mislaid your letter, you can print off a copy from the 'Letters Home' page or you can collect one from the school office. All parents attending next week, will be asked to complete a questionnaire, and fill in a free school meals form. For this you will need to know your NI number. Every parent who fills in a form will be entered into a prize draw for a Kindle Fire tablet! So please make sure you take part and have your NI number to hand to be in with a chance of winning.
