Mr Hudson will be getting married next Friday during the half term break.  We all wish him well and hope he has the perfect day!

Please remember the closing date for applications to High School is 31^st October 2019, and you need to have applied for your child’s school place online by this date.  If you do not apply by 31st October 2019 your child will not be given a high school place.  Please visit Rochdale Council School Admissions website.

Every week during PE Mr Hilton will be choosing pupils from each year group to be his PE superstars of the week. Mr Hilton has chosen the following children who were fantastic in PE last week: Well done to them!

Springfield park miniature railway are having their annual Halloween ‘scare’ train rides on Sunday 27th October, between 5pm & 7:30pm. They are hoping to have several trains running, including steam locomotives.  Rides are for donations only and there will be prize for children in fancy dress. 

Please return your orders to school by Thursday 31st October.  Orders not sent into school by this date will have to be ordered directly from the photographer.

Thank  you to those of you who attended our recent curriculum evenings.  As discussed during the sessions we have a selection of study books available from the school office.  Prices vary from £1 to £3 per book.  In addition for year 6 children we also have practice papers and revision cards available at a cost of £3 and £3.50 respectively.

Letters have gone home with our Year 5 children regarding our bikeability sessions in November.  Please return your consent form to school ASAP if you would like your child to take part.  Your child must be already able to ride a bike un-assisted  Thank you for your co-operation.

Tickets are still available for our annual Monster Ball.  They are £1 each, available from the school office on a first come first served basis.  Children under 2 years of age are free.  If you have purchased a ticket for a child under 2, please call to the office for a refund.  Please remember ALL children must be accompanied by a parent/carer on the night.
