  • Reception Maths Workshop

    Fri 28 Feb 2025

On Monday 10th March Reception parents/carers are invited to a Maths workshop after school from 3.30pm to 4pm. This workshop is to inform parents of what we hope their children will achieve by the end of the Reception year. It will include ideas and strategies to enable parents to support their children with their learning at home. We would really appreciate it if parents/carers could take the time to attend, as this will benefit you and your children’s learning. The best outcomes for children occur when parents/carers and school work together. If you would like to attend please come to the Reception doors.

    Thank you.

    Fri 28 Feb 2025

On Monday afternoon, Y5 and 6 had a careers afternoon. Representatives from  First Bus, Dunsters Farm and Trident PT gave a short introduction and description of their role. The children then had time to ask questions related particularly to the pathway that the individual had taken. The children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and the employers responded extremely positively and have asked to take part in further careers projects that we will be running.

    Fri 28 Feb 2025

World Book Day is on Thursday 6th March. This year, the theme is 'Read Your Own Way'. We will be holding a competition where children can design a bookmark and the winners will receive book vouchers.

Children can dress in an outfit they would like to read in e.g comfy clothes or pyjamas. If children prefer to dress as a book character then of course they can choose to do this instead.
