Swimming
Fri 12 Jan 2018Please note that Miss Ward's class will continue to go swimming until Tuesday 30th January, this will be their last session. Mr Hudson's class will start swimming sessions on Tuesday 6th February and their last session will be Tuesday 3rd July. Please can you ensure your child has a towel and their swimming costume/trunks every Tuesday. Thank you.

DoJo Shop
Fri 05 Jan 2018Just a reminder that dojo points across school were all re-set ready for the Spring term. The feedback from the children has been overwhelmingly positive and we are looking forward to opening up our shop again every Friday. Please do encourage your child to work towards a reward of their choosing. -
Tandle Hills
Fri 05 Jan 2018Year 5 children will be going to Tandle Hills this term. Each child will get to go once. They will go on a Friday between 12th January and 23rd February. Please ensure you have returned the permission slip so your child can attend. Thanks.

Year 5 Trip to Matthew Moss
Fri 05 Jan 2018Year 5 children have been invited to attend the 'Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry' event on Friday 12th January at Matthew Moss High School. Letters have been sent home with children this week. Please ensure you complete the permission slip and return it to school ASAP. Thank you. -
Attendance Winners

Spring term After School Clubs
Thu 04 Jan 2018We will be starting our new term after school clubs the week beginning Monday 15th January 2018. Letters are being sent home with children this week. Please return the permission slip asap if you would like your child to take part in one of our clubs. All the clubs run from 3:00pm to 4:15pm for 10 weeks, and cost £10 for the term. They will be running as follows:
Tuesdays: Multisports (Y3 & Y4 children)
Thursdays: Dance & Gymnastics (Y1 & Y2 children)
Fridays: Cricket (Y5 & Y6 children).

Children In Need Day
Wed 20 Dec 2017Thank you to everyone who joined in with our Children In Need non uniform day. We raised a fantastic £319.50 for the charity. Thank you all!

Christmas Jumper Day
Fri 15 Dec 2017It is our Christmas Jumper day on Monday 18th December. Children can wear a Christmas themed jumper instead of their school jumper, along with normal school uniform. Thank you for your co-operation. -
Christmas Party Day
Fri 15 Dec 2017We will be having our Christmas parties on Wednesday 20th December, our last day of term. Children are welcome to bring their party clothes into school in a bag on the day and they can get changed at lunchtime. Please ensure your child's name is on the bag and on the clothes. Thank you!

Gymnastics Superstars Event
Fri 15 Dec 2017On Wednesday 13th December, we held the ‘Gymnast Superstar’ event between Springside and Marland Hill pupils. Children from year 2 showed their skills being supported by UKS2 Sport Leaders. All the children enjoyed the event, and thanks go to Mr Pauley for all his hard work in arranging the event.
