Nursery children have been having lots of fun wearing their Christmas jumpers yesterday.
This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class. To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day. Thank you for your continued support.

This term, in geography, year 5 have been learning about South America with a particular focus on Brazil. The children have been able to use maps to explore different biomes and use their geographical skills to locate human and physical features using grid references.
In art, the children have spent some time exploring the work of the contemporary Brazilian artisit, Beatriz Milhazes. The children have then taken elements of this artist's inspirational work to create their very own collage using geometric shapes and different materials.
In science, we have been investigating everyday materials. The children have been carrying out experiments to see how quickly different materials dissolve in water. We have also been studying the differences between reversible and irreversible changes.
