Year 4 classes will be involved in the Rochdale Linking Network this academic year . As part of the project, both classes and their ‘link’ class will visit M6 Theatre in Rochdale. Mr Hudson’s class will go on Friday 11^th November and Mr Rimmer’s class will go on Tuesday 22^nd November.  If you have not done so already please complete the consent form, as soon as possible. Unfortunately we are now full for the Samba Music after school club.

The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.

Young Voices is open to Year 4, 5 and 6 children who are invited to participate at Manchester Arena on Wednesday 1st February 2023.

In advance of the Young Voices event, all children taking part are invited to attend an after school club to practise the songs. The after school club will be on a Thursday and will run on the following dates:

Thursday 6th October to Thursday 8th December (inclusive)

Thursday 12th January to Thursday 26th January (inclusive)

The club will run after school until 3.50pm. Children should be collected from the school office by an adult at 3.50pm prompt.

There are 5 spaces left and are on a first come first served basis.

Fauzia and her family completed the Walk of Hope to raise money for Brain Tumour Research in memory of her son and our Reception pupil from last year, Saqib Raza Ahmed who sadly passed away from a rare brain tumour. If you would like to donate the JustGiving link is

The Year 6 residential visit will be to the High Adventure Outdoor Education Centre in Keighley, West Yorkshire. This will take place from Wednesday 15^th February 2023 until Friday 17^th February 2023. The cost of the residential is £60 and we require a deposit of £10 to reserve your child’s place. The deposit must be received no later than Monday 17^th October.
