There will be a transition day for all children at Marland Hill on Tuesday 4th July, where all children move up to their next class. Year 6 children will also be going to their chosen high school on this date. You should have received a letter from their high school. If you have not then please contact your child’s allocated school. Please ensure you know the arrangements for this day in advance. Year 6 children should go directly to their chosen high school on this date.
This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class. To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day. Thank you for your continued support.
The children have recently used the book ‘There’s a Snake in my School’ by David Walliams as their English focus so they were very excited to have a real snake visiting their classroom this week. Miss Bernabo brought along her bull python named ‘Morgan’ to meet the children. The children were also able to recap their science learning where they have been learning about different types of animals, including reptiles.
To celebrate Eid the children will be having parties in their classrooms in school on Monday 3rd July.
Children can come in their own clothes on this day.
Please ensure children wear comfortable clothes and suitable footwear. Thank you for your continued support.
