The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

Thank you so much for all your kind donations for Children In Need. The children all looked fabulous in their pyjamas. We will update you next week on how much money we have raised for this very worthy cause.

· Year 4: Wednesday 20^th November The   Odeon Cinema in Rochdale to watch Migration. The film is rated U.

· Year 5: Wednesday 27^th November  The  Odeon Cinema in Rochdale to watch Ozi: Voice of the Forest. The film is rated PG.

· Year 6: Tuesday 26^th November The Odeon Cinema in Rochdale to watch Despicable Me 4. The film is rated U.

The Year 6 residential visit will be to the High Adventure Outdoor Education Centre, Cowling, Keighley, BD22 0AA. This will take place Wednesday 29th January 2025 until Friday 31st January 2025. Those who have completed the consent form and paid the £10  deposit can now pay the balance and are welcome to do this in instalments up to the      departure date. Please go to the payment section in payment section in parent mail, then ‘shop’ to make any payments for this.

On Monday 18^th November it is our Times Tables Rock Star launch day, To celebrate this we would like all children to come to school dressed as a rock star. We will be handing out certificates for best dressed, most improved and best results. This coincides with an inter school competition that will run for 2 weeks from the 11^th -22nd November. 

We cannot wait to see your outfits!

We are holding a Reception parent workshop next week on Tuesday 19th November straight after school 3.30pm-3.50pm. The workshop is about  sharing stories with your children to help them to  develop their early reading skills. Parents who wish to attend to please wait at the Reception doors please on the day. We look forward to seeing you there!

This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.

Thursday 21st November a parent information meeting for Year 1 parents will be held at 3.30 - 4 in Ms Ingles’ class. This meeting is to discuss our mastering number work, why we do it and how you can support your child at home.
