This week on Friday children have been performing in the choir. The children will also be performing at the Rochdale Music Festival at St Mary’s barn on Tuesday 7th May. More information to follow next week
If your child is going to be absent or is ill then please contact the school office on 01706 647147 before 9am, if possible, so we can mark your child absent. If you wish to email us you can send an email to the school office at:
office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk
Or alternatively you can send an email via Parentmail.
Please note that daily contact is required for safeguarding reasons and we may call you for an update if your child has a prolonged absence. If you can provide medical evidence regarding your child’s absence this will ensure the absence is authorised.
There are no swimming lessons next week, so the next lesson for Year 5A will be Tuesday 14th May. Thank you.
For Year 6 SATS week commencing Monday 13th May children are welcome to attend Breakfast Club free of charge.
Children should be at Breakfast Club for 8.00am and breakfast will be provided free of charge. Thank you for your continued support.
We are asking for donations for games that can be used for when children have wet play. Any games such as board games are welcome. If you wish to donate please bring them to the school office. Thank you.
Our morning nursery is now full but we do have some afternoon nursery places in September 2024. If you are interested then please come and pick an application form up from the school office.
Thank you.
Please could we ask if anyone is a childminder or may know of anyone, for them to contact school so we could pass their details on as we have parents who are in need of before and after school childcare.
You can email the school office:
office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk
Thank you.
This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class. To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day. Thank you for your continued support.
