The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

Due to unforeseen circumstances there will be no swimming lesson for 5A on Tuesday 19th March. Lessons will start again after the Easter holidays.

These Phonics Books are available to buy on Parentmail for Year 1 to assist with your child’s Phonics Learning. Please go to the shop section on Parentmail they are £1 each.

On 20th March Tempest Photography will be coming to take class photographs for Reception and Year 6.

Please could we ask if anyone is a childminder or may know of anyone, for them to contact school so we could pass their details on as we have parents who are in need of before and after school childcare.

As part of their Geography topic, Year 5 have been invited to visit Manchester Recycling Centre on the following dates:

Year 5B Miss Clarke’s Class: Thursday 25^th April 2024

Year 5A Miss Ashraf’s Class: Friday 26^th April 2024.

The cost of the trip will be £11. This is a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the visit and transport, however if there is not enough money collected the visit will be cancelled.  The cost of the visit has been subsidised by school.

Please be aware that there are roadworks taking place on Roch Valley Way so allow yourself time when dropping and picking up. Thank you.

Our nursery is full at present, but we are now taking applications for September 2024, the deadline for this is the 31st of March 2024 and applications forms are available from the office.
