Covid 19 symptoms—extended list
Following the revised guidance that was sent out yesterday from Rochdale Local Authority, please find below a list of the extended Covid symptoms which will now require a PCR test to be taken at a local test site.
More common symptoms are:
fever
a new and continuous cough
shortness of breath
fatigue
loss of appetite
anosmia (loss of smell)
ageusia (loss of taste)
Non-specific symptoms include:
shortness of breath
fatigue
loss of appetite
myalgia (muscle aches)
sore throat
headache
nasal congestion
diarrhoea
nausea
vomiting
If your child displays any of these symptoms, our school office will advise you to book a PCR test as advised by the Local Authority, your child will be able to return to school once a negative test result is received.
Meal patterns will continue to be alternative weeks of hot dinners and grab bags.
Week commencing, 26th April 2021:
Hot Dinners: Years 1, 3, 6
Grab Bags: Years 2, 4 ,5.
Reception will continue to have hot meals daily.
Every week during PE Mr Hilton will be choosing pupils to be his PE superstars of the week. Mr Hilton has chosen the following children who were fantastic in PE last week: Well done!

Please can you ensure that you apply suncream to your child in the event of a hot weather forecast and encourage them to bring a sunhat to school. Thanks
Please can we remind parents/carers to ensure that their child brings in their coat on a daily basis, with the class rooms well ventilated and weather changes through the day it is best that children have their coat in school if they need it. Thank you.
Children have been so busy being so creative doing lots of arts and crafts. They look fantastic, well done!
