  • Year 4 Roman Workshop

    As part of their History topic, Year 4 will be having a visit from the Balestra Living History Project who will be doing a workshop named: The Roman Britain  Primary History workshop. This will take place on Tuesday 10th February. This is an exciting        opportunity for the children.

     

    On the day the children will be taking part in different workshops led by a Roman expert. They will have the chance to handle Roman artefacts and will be trained like Roman soldiers. The children will have the opportunity to use equipment to create different army formations. The children will also create an  interactive timeline. This will be a full day workshop.     School will be heavily subsiding the cost, we are asking for a voluntary contribution of £4. You can pay for this on parent mail by going to     payments/shop.

     

  • Parking and Driving around School

    Please can we remind parents/carers to please be careful when parking and driving around school. Please be mindful about not blocking local residents’ driveways.

  • School Dinners

    A reminder that meal patterns are set per half term and cannot be swapped or changed in between.

     

    School dinners are £3.10 per day– please ensure any outstanding balances are paid. Thank you.

     

  • Year 3 Manchester Museum

    Year 3 will be visiting Manchester Museum on the following date:

     

    · Thursday 15th January 2026

     

    The cost of the trip will be £6. This is a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the visit and transport. The cost of the visit has been heavily subsidised by school. If we do not   receive sufficient funds we will have to cancel the visit.

     

    Please complete the consent form on parent mail, which can be found in the forms section. To pay the £6 voluntary contribution, please go to parent mail, payments/shop.

     

  • Reading Workshops

    Reading workshops this half term will be as follows:

    · Friday 16th January – Year 5

    · Friday 23rd January – Year 4

    · Friday 30th January – Year 3

    · Friday 6th February – Year 2

    · Friday 13th February – Year 1

     

    They will be taking place in the school hall  2.30pm-3pm.

     

    Tea/Coffee will be provided.
