A reminder that meal patterns are set per half term and cannot be swapped or changed in between. If you wish for your child’s meal pattern to be changed then you must email the school (office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk) no later than Monday 21st February. If we do not hear from you then we will assume your child remains on their current meal pattern. Thank you.

There are a number of children who are wearing Jewellery to school. Please can you support us in ensuring children are not wearing bracelets, rings or necklaces. Hoop earrings are also not appropriate for school. Children with long hair will also need to be able to tie it back on their PE day. Thank you.
The following children have been awarded “Star Reader” and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

We are a Healthy Eating school so please ensure that if your child brings in a packed lunch, that it follows the healthy eating guidance and contains no sweets or fizzy drinks.
The Eat Well Plate is a good way to ensure a well balanced diet.
A reminder that any holidays taken during term time will be marked as an unauthorised absence and may result in a penalty notice being issued. Penalty notices are issued per parent per child.
