The children enjoyed their learning this week visiting the Mosque and Church.

Some of our year 5 children went to Oulder Hill today to take part in a competition with five other schools in Rochdale, the children had to work together to solve maths problems and it was themed around the Commonwealth Games and they did amazing!

Please could parents consider our local residents when parking around school. We would like to ask that you do not block driveways as we have had a number of complaints from nearby residents that parents are blocking their driveway. We also ask that you do not park on the yellow lines as these are in place for your child’s safety.

This year, weather permitting, our KS2 sports days will be on the following dates and times:

Years 5 & 6          Monday 4^th July – 9.30am to 10.30am

Years 3 & 4        Wednesday 6^th July – 1:30pm to 2:30pm

Your child will need to bring their outdoor PE kit with them, including trainers.

All parents/carers are welcome to attend.

Every week during PE Mr Hilton will be choosing pupils to be his PE superstars of the week. Mr Hilton has chosen the following children who were fantastic in PE last week: Well done!

This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos.  There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support. Year 6 will be having a leavers assembly on the morning of the last day of term, Year 6 parents are welcome to come, more information to follow.

There is a Toddler Session is at the Brimrod Methodist Church, Roch Valley Way, Rochdale, OL11 4PZ  every Thursday 9.30am-11.30am Term time only. Everyone is welcome.

Children had lots of fun tasting different types of fruit and then cutting them up, making their own fruit kebabs.
