We break up for October Half Term today. We hope that you all have a lovely break and we look forward to seeing you all back in school on Monday 31st October.

On Wednesday, some of our children from KS2 took part in the cross country  event at Falinge Park High School, competing against other schools in the borough. They did an amazing job of representing our school and had fun in the process! Well done to everyone who took part.

The after school clubs will finish this week. We will be holding after school clubs after the October half term holidays, from the week commencing 31st October, more information will follow soon.

A reminder that meal patterns are set per half term and you cannot swap or change in-between.

After October half term from the week commencing 31st October (for the half term) if you wish for your child’s meal pattern to change then you must email the school office: office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk no later than Friday 21st October. Thank you.

A polite reminder to please ensure that you have returned your child’s completed and signed data collection sheet to school with your child. School cannot release children to adults who are not on your child’s pick up list. Thank you for your continued support.

A reminder that Year 4 classes will be involved in the Rochdale Linking Network this academic year . As part of the project, both classes and their ‘link’ class will visit M6 Theatre in Rochdale. Mr Rimmer’s class will go on Friday 11^th November and Mr Hudson’s class will go on Tuesday 22^nd November.  If you have not done so already please complete the consent form on parent mail, as soon as possible. This can be found in the forms section. Thank you.
