Year  6 SATS will be taking place week commencing Tuesday 9th May. Year 6 children are welcome to come to breakfast club for SATS week only. Breakfast club starts at 8am. All year 6 children are welcome to come for this week.

Year 4 - Multiplication tables check:

Week commencing 5th June.

This term, every week we will be looking at children’s attendance and all those children who have 100% attendance for the week will be put in to a draw to win 10 Dojos. There will be one random winner from each class.  To ensure your child is entered into this weekly draw, all you have to do is make sure they are in school on time every day.  Thank you for your continued support.

We still have places available in our afternoon nursery for September. If you are interested then please pick up an application form from the office. You will need to bring your child’s birth certificate and proof of address along with the completed application form. Thank you.

Year 4 went on a walk to Rochdale as part of their Geography topic. They visited some historical landmarks and learned about them. Fantastic work!

The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a

drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

Following the success of this term’s workshops we will be inviting parents in again next term to promote the benefits of positive reading with your child. Parents/carers are invited to attend, tea/coffee will be provided. The dates are as follows:

· Monday 24^th April – Year 4

· Monday 15^th May – Year 3

· Monday 22^nd May – Year 1

· Monday 12^th June – Year 2

Sessions will run 9.00am-9.30am.

As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.
