The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

Every week during PE, Coach Kerrianne will be choosing pupils to be her PE superstars of the week. Well done to the following children who were fantastic in PE last week:

Children in Year 3 represented school in the KS2 Athletics Festival at the Soccer Factory this week. They did a fantastic job and had a really great time!

Last week the children were given awards for best handwriting and presentation of their school work.

Certificates and Dojo’s were awarded in assembly to the winners.

This week children from year 1 & 2 went to the Soccer Factory to participate in the IPLCN athletics festival. The children each got a certificate and had a great time! Well done!

This week it has been Deaf Awareness Week and everyone has been asked to participate in learning some sign language. The finger spelling challenge was to learn the alphabet and for the children to be able to sign their own name. Children have also been learning ‘Sign of the Day’ which the children have been learning.

This year, year 6 will have the opportunity to order a leaver’s hoodie. The leaver’s hoodie will have your child’s first name printed on the hoodie. If you would like one ordered for your child you must complete the consent form on parent mail no later than Friday 12^th May. (This can be found in the forms section). Unfortunately, we will not be able to order one after this date due to allow time for them to be delivered on time. We are asking for a payment contribution of £5. (This can be paid on parent mail in the payment section/then shop)
