This term the reading workshops will be as follows:

· Tuesday 16th January – Year 2

· Tuesday 23rd January—Year 1

Sessions will run 9.00am-9.30am. Tea/coffee will be provided. As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.

A huge thank you to everyone who entered the Winter Art Competition. We were blown away by the number of entries and the artistic talent; judging was really tricky! Thank you also to the School Council for their hard work in promoting the competition and assisting with judging the artwork. We are pleased to announce the results as follows:

Every week during PE, Coach Kerrianne will be choosing pupils to be her PE superstars of the week. Well done to the following children who were fantastic in PE last week:

The following children have been awarded ‘Star Reader’ and enjoyed going to the ‘Starbooks’ cafe in the library to enjoy a drink and a treat as their reward. Fantastic!

The children did a fantastic job this week at the Christmas concert. They worked so hard rehearsing the songs and dance moves! They were so brave getting up on the stage in front of a live audience. Well done Early Years!
