School Council are running their annual  Easter   competition over this term.

They are selling Easter Egg templates in school.

The children can design their egg as they wish, but MUST use the template bought.

The closing date is Wednesday 1st April. 

There will be prizes for each key stage!

A reminder that on Monday 30^th March, our Reception classes will be visiting Smithills Farm in Bolton where they will be looking at animal families and the changes they go through as they grow. The children will have the opportunity to handle and feed many of the  animals and as a special treat they will be able to ride on a donkey and   travel around the farm on a tractor trailer.

Please ensure your child comes to school in their normal school uniform, coat, hat, gloves and    wellies in a separate carrier bag.

As part of their Geography fieldwork studies, Year 4 will be going on a walk to Rochdale on the following dates:

· 4B Miss Shabir’s class will be going on Wednesday 1^st April.

· 4A Miss Ashraf’s class will be going on Thursday 2^nd April.

The children will be looking at human and physical geographical features in the local environment.

Please can you ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the walk, including sensible shoes/ coat/ sunhat/ sun cream as appropriate for the weather on the day.

Please go to Parent Mail to complete the consent form as soon as possible. (This can be found in the forms section)

Tickets for our Easter raffle are now on sale, Tickets can be purchased from the office for £1 a strip (5 Tickets) or from the shop section on parentmail. The raffle will be drawn on Thursday 2nd April in school.

A reminder that meal patterns are set per half term and cannot be swapped or changed in between. If you wish to change your child’s meal pattern after the April half term you must email the school office: office@marlandhill.rochdale.sch.uk no later than Thursday 2nd April

The children from the HIRB went on a visit to the Fireground Museum in Rochdale this week. They absolutely loved learning about how fires were dealt with in the past compared to now.
