  • Connect Sheffield Visit

    On Thursday 13th June, Mr Hudson, along with 4 Year 5 children, visited EISS (English' Institute Sport Sheffield) for a tour around the facility and to try out a number of sports that ordinarily they wouldn’t get the chance to in PE lessons. The children were fantastic throughout and were a testament to the school.

  • Year 4 ‘Magic Flute’

    Fri 28 Jun 2024

    Year 4 have been invited to perform in the ‘The Magic Flute’ on Wednesday 3rd July in the afternoon. This will take place at the Curtain Theatre in Rochdale.

     

    Parents are able to attend and will need to book their tickets through try booking, more information has been sent separately on parent mail about this.

  • Year 6 Bowling

    Fri 28 Jun 2024

    Year 6 will be going bowling at Sandbrook Park on Friday 5th July. Children will be going in the afternoon after they have had their lunch in school.

     

     Children will be walking to and from the venue with members of staff from school. Children will be back at their normal finish time. This visit will be fully subsidised by school so parental contributions will not be required’

  • Year 4B Linking Project

  • Music Assembly

    This week schools across our collaborative joined us for an instrumental workshop. All children’s  performances were excellent, and great fun was had by all!

     

  • Year 6 Leavers Disco

    Fri 28 Jun 2024

    On Tuesday 16th July, we will be holding our annual Year 6 Leavers’ Disco.  It will take place from 5.30pm – 7.30pm and will include a buffet and disco.  As this is a special event, your child will need to be dressed smartly.

     

    Due to the Disco finishing late, all children will need to be collected by an adult (18 years old or over) at 7.30pm prompt. The cost of the event is £5.00 to help to pay for the disco and food.

     

    Please go to Parent Mail to complete the consent form (which can be found in the forms section) and please go to the payment section to purchase your child’s ticket. Tickets are £5 per child.

     

     

  • Reading Mornings

    This term the reading workshops will be as follows:

    · 9th July - Reception

    · 16th July - Nursery

     

    Sessions will run 9am-9.30am. Tea/coffee will be provided. As a school, we are working on promoting a love of reading and it would be great to have parents as positive reading role models for the children. We hope to see as many parents as possible.
