Year 6 had a fantastic time last week at bowling!

On Thursday Year 1 had a fantastic time visiting Forest school.

In Year 2 we have been making pizzas. The children tasted a range of vegetables and then designed their own pizza. The children then prepared their own pizza by spreading sauce, cutting and arranging vegetables and then cooking them. They were delicious! 

Please the attached letter on page 8 regarding the new rules around leave in term time, which go live from the 19th August 2024.

On Friday, Year 6 had their activity day, in which they participated in various outdoor activities. More information to follow next week.

On Tuesday 16^th July, we will be holding our annual Year 6 Leavers’ Disco.  It will take place from 5.30pm – 7.30pm and will include a buffet and disco.  As this is a special event, your child will need to be dressed smartly.

Due to the Disco finishing late, all children will need to be collected by an adult (18 years old or over) at 7.30pm prompt. The cost of the event is £5.00 to help to pay for the disco and food.

Please go to Parent Mail to complete the consent form (which can be found in the forms section) and please go to the payment section to purchase your child’s ticket. Tickets are £5 per child.

Next year, one of our school priorities is going to be to develop our careers education. We want to provide the children with positive role models and help them to build up an understanding of local industries to allow them to make informed choices about careers.

We would like your help to do this. We would like to build up a bank of parents, or other family members, who would be willing to talk to a class of children about the job that they do. If you would like to help us with this then please could you contact the office with details of your job and a contact email or phone number.
