Neuro diversity support for parents
The Neurodiversity Hub supports families and children who are Neurodivergent
or who have communication differences, to work together with professionals to
problem solve issues that are affecting them. It is based on needs and not a

• Umbrella Sessions provide support for parents with a child who may be
presenting with a neurodiversity. They aim to deliver sessions for parents on
sensory challenging strategies, sleep and wellbeing and neurodiversity at

• SHINE is a 10 week intervention for parents/carers of primary school aged
children who have social and communication needs. There are range of topics
such as communication, play, sleep, celebrating your child's gifts and talents

• Children’s Occupational Therapy (HMR) Community aim to help a child to
minimise the impact of their difficulties and improve their ability to participate in
their daily occupations by finding ways to overcome any problems they
experience. They see children with sensory difficulties impacting on their

• Spectrum gaming is an autistic led UK based charity that supports autistic
people. They provide a space where autistic children can feel safe and create
belonging with peers who share similar experiences. They have online
services where young people can be supervised by adults to explore and
