On Monday 4th July, six Year 4 children attended the ‘Freshers’ Fair’at Rochdale cricket club.
This was the first event of the IPLCN Reading University project. The children spent the morning working in teams with other schools to complete a book quiz and design a logo.
After a delicious lunch, we had a talk from an author called Adam Perrot who also read extracts from his book. The children are looking forward to the next two years of the project.
